We were recently sent a link to pictures we had taken on our phones a year ago with the title “Rediscover the Day”. Clicking on these pictures we could see the moments we captured last year. We knew that it snowed (a favorite of the Bostwick family), we had a beautiful Christmas tree, we had visited an ice festival, spoke at an amazing church and celebrated birthdays and family. As we looked through these pictures, we thought what will we be doing at this time next year? What pictures will be taken today, that will be reminders of all God has called us into? What will we want to rediscover next year?
Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
The Lord’s plans for us are all good and so much better than our plans for ourselves. When we follow God’s plans He tells us we can be assured of the outcome. How amazing that we can be fully assured God, who is only good, will give us good plans with an amazing outcome.
When we seek God with all our hearts we aren’t promised any problems, but we are promised victory and an expected end. When we search God with all our heart we will find Him.
Matthew 7:7 – Ask and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
It is not just enough to ask or put a question to, we need to seek an answer to. Jesus has already provided our needs through His atonement. Our provision is waiting for us to receive it. We need to ask like we believe it is already ours; appropriate by faith what grace has already provided. We ask for what has already been provided, we seek what we don’t know, and we knock to open doors that have been closed.
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Rediscover all God has called you to Live, Move and Believe in.
