How often do we look for something that was right in view the entire time? Have you gone for a walk with a toddler? They notice everything and everything is interesting. The sky, planes, the sidewalk, rocks, bugs, a leaf. When we stop and take time to quiet the noise of everyday life, we create space in the busyness of our responsibilities to appreciate what’s always been there – God.
God’s presence is in us daily, but do we stop and make time for Him all day, every day? Easter is a time to remember all Jesus did for us on the cross. A time to purpose to become more aware of God’s voice and His love. The purpose of Easter is not to better our lives, but to center our life and remind us what matters most. While Easter is always a reminder of the life Jesus gave us, we should prepare daily for what matters most – God.
Prepare for More:
Right now, what’s fighting for your attention and keeping you from going deeper with God?
Silencing the noise in our lives takes time. How do we do it? We must purpose to recenter our lives on what matters most: the One who made us and died for is. Purposing to spend time in relationship with Jesus will quiet the noise of the World and allow us to walk confidently in God’s purpose.
