If you can Dream it you can Do it!
Do you have dreams? Can you see them become reality? The key with dreaming is to not look back. Don’t let anything or anyone stop you from dreaming big and seeing dreams become reality. Keep moving forward.
From Vision to Reality:
Your dreams are specific to you. Not everyone will understand or be on board with your dreams and that is ok. God is personal and He has given you the tools you need to accomplish your dreams.
Think you are too old for dreams? Age is a state of mind:
- Colonel Sanders was 66 when he started KFC.
- Vera Wang was a figure skater and journalist before starting in fashion at age 40.
- Henry Ford was 45 when he created the Model T in 1908.
There is no age limit on dreams – Ecc 5:3.
Try these techniques:
- Make a vision board where you can pin or glue things that remind you of your dreams. When you can visualize and see your dream daily it will be at the forefront of your thoughts.
- Write down your dreams to keep them fresh in your mind. Journaling is a great way to review your dreams, progress and keep yourself uplifted and motivated.
- Remember to enjoy and respect the present moment. Part of the end result of dreaming is the journey.
- Do you have a tribe of people that sow into you? Talk with others who share your goals and dreams to stay encouraged and excited. Keep a level of passion for your dreams.
Your God-given dream, or purpose, will inspire you, motivate you, and help to keep that vision alive until it comes to pass.
Just like Joseph, he understood that what God had spoken to him and declared about him was true no matter what the circumstances indicated. Genesis 39:2 defies the logic of Joseph’s circumstances. It says,
“And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.”
Joseph believed he was prosperous because he knew prosperity came from God, not man. He had an image on the inside that was not affected by circumstance, and it enabled him to operate in faith. As he diligently labored, God blessed the work of his hands.
See yourself as God sees you, a prosperous person, regardless of your physical circumstances. Recognize and acknowledge the fact that God is with you, that you are anointed and highly favored. Serve others with all your heart as unto the Lord. Eliminate murmuring and complaining, and replace grumblings with praise and thankfulness, knowing God will complete what He has begun in your life.
Dream BIG!
