When we arrived in Tijuana, MX we were greeted by a group of small children anxious to give us gum and candy. We were strangers, yet they ran to hug our legs. The muddy and sewage strewn streets brought home the reality of where these children played.
The children squealed with glee as we sat down to talk to them and share how much Jesus loves them. It was a welcome we will never forget. How often are people so excited to learn about Jesus that they will run and hug you. Sit in front of you, hanging on every word.
Even with a language barrier, Jesus can communicate through you with smiles, hand holding and hugs.
A child in any country is a child eager to be loved.
John 3:16
